Armor Testing
H.P. White is the industry leader in the testing of body and vehicular armor. The laboratory conducts a full range of armor testing from development through certification and lot acceptance evaluations to post-production quality control. HP White regularly conducts verification testing of armor for a variety of Federal, State, and Local Government agencies, as well as a number of foreign agencies.
HP White tests the gamut of personal and vehicular, commercial and military armors, ranging from state-of-the-art composites and reactive armors to more common steel, aluminum, and transparent armors are routinely tested to consensus and proprietary specifications and standards. Production vehicles and assemblies are routinely tested to ensure the entire system contains no weaknesses or flaws introduced during the assembly process.
NVLAP Scope of Accreditation

A laboratory's fulfillment of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 means the laboratory meets both the technical competence requirements and management system requirements that are necessary for it to consistently deliver technically valid test results and calibrations. The management system requirements in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (Section 4) are written in language relevant to laboratory operations and meet the principles of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems — Requirements and are aligned with its pertinent requirements.
